FAQ | EyeKonect

F A Q

Who can benefit from EyeKon products?
Anyone who spends significant time on videos calls. Input on our product design has come from salespeople, educators, podcasters, marketing execs, media producers and on-air talent, even people who use it for important job interviews.

Why did you create EyeKon?
With remote work and meetings being standard business practice, everyone can benefit from making a good impression through natural eye contact. It helps project confidence and improves the overall interaction if one or many are on a video call.

Is it useful to mostly professionals or other consumers?
No, all will benefit depending on the context. For example, job applicants get pre-screened via video calls in most instances. If the applicant can make a better impression with natural eye contact, project confidence and handle the overall interaction well, it can make huge difference in landing a job, or get moved to next phase in the hiring process.

Are there competitors to EyeKonect in this space?
Yes, a couple of companies have products to address this need, but we at EyeKonect believe our product to be superior than our competitors.

What is the differentiation between EyeKon and competition?
Besides ensuring a seamless eye contact during video calls, a) EyeKon does not block the main laptop screen, making it available for other purpose such as taking notes or stage a presentation material, b) EyeKon serves as a second monitor when not in a video conference, and c) EyeKon can be mounted on either left or right side of the laptop screen to use in portrait mode for certain applications.
